Empowering Young Adults With A Foster Care Background

We Support Young People With A History In Foster Care As They Journey Toward Independence.

The transition to adulthood can be challenging for young people who have grown up in the child welfare system. Faced with the same responsibilities as their peers—securing stable employment, earning sufficient income, finding safe and affordable housing, accessing post-secondary or vocational educational opportunities, and navigating complex relationships—former foster youth often encounter more significant hurdles and have poorer outcomes. Unlike their peers, most face these obstacles with limited support from caring adults who have a genuine interest in their success.
